Kate Kanapeaux
Kate is the Member Engagement Manager at CITE, where she is committed to empowering education technologists by providing the connections, tools, and resources they need to enhance student opportunities and learning. With over 15 years of experience, Kate has supported associations with education, member engagement, and development in complex fields such as cybersecurity, government contracting, IT, and manufacturing.
Most recently, Kate worked at Acumen Executive Search, where she assisted associations, not-for-profits, government agencies, and private sector organizations in filling strategic leadership roles and supporting succession planning. She is deeply passionate about the role associations play in building connections, addressing critical challenges, and driving positive change in our communities
What do you do in your limited free time?:
"Having just relocated back to California, I’m getting outside and enjoying the sunshine - hiking, swimming, tennis....or you can find me cooking."
What sparked your interest about working for CITE?
"I’m truly passionate about what associations can accomplish as a group of professionals coming together. With CITE that impact is truly world changing, thinking of the impact that technology access can have on students’ opportunities to dream big and achieve great things."
What excites you most about your new role here at CITE?
"Getting to meet the members and hear their stories!"

"Let’s give a shout out to California Society of Association Executives – CalSAE, I have been involved with this group for several years and this is where I first met my, now colleagues, as CITE."
