Program Overview

The CITE CompTIA A+ Bootcamp study program is designed to focus especially on K-12 technology environments and features facilitation by a CompTIA exam proctor. This bootcamp covers both sections of the CompTIA A+ exam (1101 and 1102).

Registration includes an exam voucher for both Core 1 and Core 2. Both exams must be completed to earn the CompTIA A+ designation.

Each bootcamp will consist of 10 weekly two-hour sessions on Tuesdays from 9:00 - 11:00 am via Zoom, plus an optional office hour drop in for questions on Thursdays 12:00-1:00 pm.

CITE Members: $900

Non-Members: $1200

We are also seeking experienced CITE community members who are interested and able to commit to facilitating one or more CompTIA A+ (Core 2) sessions beginning Fall 2024.
What does a facilitator do? Each facilitator reviews prepared content, slide decks, agendas, and pre-set activities in preparation to lead a two-hour session. Each session is a deep dive into one or more learning objectives for the module.
Facilitators meet ahead of time with CITE staff to discuss ways to bring their own professional experience to the session. Facilitators are provided a stipend and recertification hours for TMAP and the CTOM program.
