CITE Conference 2024 Call for Sessions is Open!
The annual Call for Sessions for this year's CITE Annual Conference in San Diego is now open!
Submit by March 31, 2024 for consideration.
As part of this, we have made major changes to what types of sessions we will be offering. We encourage you to try out some of these new session types this year.
Session Formats and Details
Sessions are 50 minutes long or 110 minutes for double sessions. You may request a double session, but we do not guarantee it will be scheduled. Sessions are presented in the following formats:
- Solo Presentation
- A presentation given by one presenter only.
- Team Presentation
- A presentation given by 2+ presenters.
- Panel: Moderated
- A traditional panel presentation with a moderator and table with panel mics.
- Panel: Exchange
- A fireside chat format with handheld mics only.
- Workshops
- Sessions which include attendee interaction and the ability of attendees to actively practice learning on their own equipment.
- Facilitated Discussion
- A roundtable format, where a moderator leads groups in discussion around common themes or issues.
- Essentials
- A session which focuses on basic concepts, for an audience who is newer to the technology or concept.
- Examples: WiFi Essentials, Project Management Essentials, etc.
- A session which focuses on basic concepts, for an audience who is newer to the technology or concept.
