SHLB Says FCC Order to Auction EBS Spectrum Would be Disastrous for Students, 5G and Rural America

From John Windhausen at SHLB: The draft Order on EBS licensing that the FCC has just released is very disappointing.  While the Order would give Tribal Nations first crack at obtaining EBS licenses, It would basically eliminate the educational use requirements and gives no opportunity for schools or other anchor institutions to acquire these rural wireless licenses.  The licenses would be simply be auctioned off. 

The FCC vote is expected to take place on July 10.
