
Professional Bio
Christine Jones is the Educational Technology Coordinator for the Palmdale School District, a K - 8 district of over 19,000 students located in the northeast corner of Los Angeles County. She was formerly a Consultant at the Los Angeles County Office of Education with the California Technology Assistance Program for 14 years and was a teacher of grades 4 - 6 in the Wilsona and Sanger School Districts for an additional 14 years. Christine has a Master's Degree in Curriculum Design and an Administrative Tier II Credential, as well as the following certifications: Leading Edge Certification - Administrator; Leading Edge Certification -Teacher; Google Certified Educator; Google Certified Trainer; Intel Teach to the Future - Teacher Leader; Buck Institute Project Based Learning Educator; CTAP Level 1 and 2 Certification. Her experience includes project management for large scale events, including the Antelope Valley EdTech Summit which is held annually in Palmdale and hosts 200 - 300 people from around the state of California. She is a 25 year member of CUE and currently serves in the CUE-LA Board. She is also a member of the AVSCV CITE Regional Group. Christine has been recognized as the ACSA Region 15 Technology Leader of the Year in 2017, 2020, and 2023. She was selected as the statewide ACSA Technology Leader of the Year in 2023. She also received the honor of the CETPA Educational Technology Leader of the Year in 2019.
