How long have you been in your current role and how did you get there?

"I've been in this roll for 5 years. I got here because in 2008 I wanted to make a website for my class and I was told to go talk to a guy named Jed who was "doing stuff with Google." From there I piloted Google Docs for the district with my French 3 class, was the first non computer class with its own set of Chromebooks and began leading PD. When Jed retired I was hired for my current position."

What's a recent win you've had at work?

"We have had an incredible success with Wednesday afternoon tech PDs for teachers."

How long have you been a CITE member? What is your favorite memory from a CITE event?

"I've been a CITE member since 2015. I enjoy the keynote speakers."

What do you do in your limited free time?

"Avoid screens by quilting and tinkering with woodworking."

Are there any special shout outs you'd like to give to someone in your life or the CITE community who has made a special impact on you?

"Jed Snell, my mentor."

If someone is intimidated or reluctant to get involved with CITE, what advice would you give them?

"Just do it."
