Heather Mogavero

Heather Mogavero joined CITE in January 2021 and currently serves as the Senior Privacy Services Specialist for the Privacy Services Program. In this role, she assists the dedicated team responsible for managing and negotiating student data privacy agreements, helping Local Education Agencies (LEAs) implement secure, compliant digital tools that safeguard student data and promote safe, effective learning environments.

Before joining CITE, Heather spent over eight years serving a California school district in key administrative roles, including Department Secretary for Educational Services and Elementary School Site Secretary. Her deep understanding of school operations and commitment to student success continue to inform her work in supporting educational institutions statewide.
