CITE's Hall of Fame was established in 2019, almost 60 years after it was founded as CEDPA.
We know there are many people out there who have contributed greatly to this organization.
Not all are honored here because we've lost touch. Others are listed because we know their names but don't have any other information.
If you or someone you know should be listed here, please contact awards@cetpa.net
Service, Influence, Dedication
The Hall of Fame was introduced in 2019 as a way to honor those
who deserve to be recognized for their unique service to educational
technology, influence in the K-12 education community and dedication to
CEDPA, CETPA, and CITE.
Darryl was one of the education technology community’s most visionary
and passionate advocates for transforming teaching and learning through
technology. He served two times as president of CETPA and was an
influential speaker at conferences around the nation, bringing his vision and
passion for collaboration and partnership to help public education to a
community of educators, administrators, and vendors working in the K-12
environment.

I joined CITE as the MIS Sig Chair (Some may remember Sigs). Over
the years, I was fortunate enough to hold most of the board positions. The
highlight of my professional career was serving as CETPA President in
2003. Another highlight was serving on the committee that developed the
CTO Mentor Program, and then serving as an instructor for the first cohort.
CETPA has been an incredibly important part of my life and I am very
grateful that I have been part of such an exceptional organization.

In reflecting on the CEDPA experience the most valuable aspect was the remarkable people who made the organization what it was and is....fantastic people on the Board (several of whom are HOF Members today), the general Membership that supported and challenged us to keep the organization relevant during an unprecedented time of transition, vendors who supported the organization, partner organizations like Far West Labs and CDE.
