President's Keynote: A Conversation with Bill Nye
Bill Nye is an American science educator, engineer, comedian, television presenter, author, and inventor, with a mission to help foster a scientifically literate society and to help people everywhere understand and appreciate the science that makes our world work. Making science entertaining and accessible is something Bill has been passionate about his entire life.

Jennifer Bjorklund Lloyd brings years of experience making people feel comfortable telling their stories in front of the camera.
As an NBC network news correspondent, she traveled the nation providing live reports from the scenes of breaking news for NBC stations and partners around the world, and recently spent a month in Rio de Janeiro reporting on the Olympic Summer Games.
Jennifer’s local news career covered much of the California coast, from San Luis Obispo local news radio while she attended college at Cal Poly, to KEYT-TV Santa Barbara, to KTTV Fox 11 News, Los Angeles, to KNBC-TV, where she co-anchored the morning newscast “Today in LA” for six years.

Scott Berkun is a bestselling author and popular speaker on creativity, leading projects, culture, business and many other subjects. He’s the author of seven books, including The Myths of Innovation, Confessions of a Public Speaker, and The Year Without Pants. His work has appeared, or been mentioned, in numerous national and international media.
He was born and raised in Queens, NYC, studied philosophy, computer science and design at CMU, was a manager at Microsoft (’94-’03) and WordPress.com (’10-’12), taught creativity at the University of Washington, was a co-host of CNBC’s The Business of Innovation TV show, is named on 5 U.S. patents, blogs for Harvard Business and BusinessWeek, and has appeared as an expert on various subjects on CNN, CNBC, NPR and MSNBC.

Closing Keynote: Sarah T. Roberts
Sarah T. Roberts is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Studies(Graduate School of Education & Information Studies) at UCLA. She holds a Ph.D. from the iSchool at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to joining UCLA in 2016, she was an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Information and Media Studies at Western University in London, Ontario for three years. On the internet since 1993, she was previously an information technology professional for 15 years, and, as such, her research interests focus on information work and workers and on the social, economic and political impact of the widespread adoption of the internet in everyday life.
